    Dark green compound leaves with 5-10, 4" long oval to oblong leaflets.

    Insignificant yellow flowers in small clusters in spring.

    1/2" greenish yellow seed capsule in summer.

  • Bark:

    Smooth, medium gray bark. 

  • Watering:

    In general, 15-20 gallons per week for the first 2 years; 15-20 gallons twice a month for the 3rd year; as needed after 3 years (varies by soil, sun, and wind conditions).

  • Tree Care:

    Low. Early pruning will train a good shape; regular pruning needed less frequently with age.

  • Tolerance:

    Poor soils.

  • Special Considerations:

    Trees perform best in the warmest microclimates with little wind. Slow growing.

    Native to Australia. Good tree for 2x3' basins. Disease and pest resistant.
