Meet new members of the planting team

Friends of the Urban Forest has recently added a couple of new employees to our planting team.

Brandon NammBrandon Namm, our new Planting Manager, has an Environmental Studies degree from UC Santa Cruz and a Masters in Forestry from Humboldt State University.  Prior to joining FUF, he worked for the Davey Tree Expert Company inventorying street trees in the Bay Area.  He grew up in Ventura, California, and moved to San Francisco a year-and-a-half ago.  He lives in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

Madalyn and Brandon are looking forward to meeting you at one of our planting events.  Check out our Events Calendar to find out dates and locations.

Writing for Doug Wildman. I am a member of the Bernal History Project and had a lovely meeting with Margaret Bean this morning. She wanted us to take custody of the site plans you drew up in the early days of your career (Wildman Designs) for Virginia Street between Eugenia and Winfield in San Francisco. I was curious if you remember when you did the drawings. Margaret is retiring to a senior facility in Santa Rosa in the coming days. Look forward to talking with you either by email ( or phone (415-902-4975).
