*Fast growing species are as follows

Brisbane Box (Lophostemon confertus or Tristania conferta):
All Acacia species
Peppermint willow (Agonis flexuosa)
All Eucalyptus species
Chinese Elm (Ulmus parvifolia)
Australian Tea Tree (Leptospermum laevigatum)

Why are fast growing species more expensive to maintain?
When trees are fast growers, there is more opportunity for them to become overgrown or have structural problems. In order to "keep up" with the tree, it is necessary to visit them more often, and the trees will be comparatively bigger than the slower and medium growers. So there is more labor, time and debris involved with each visit.

If something should happen to your tree before the visits occur, we will offer credit toward tree care on your FUF replacement tree. For more information about street trees or our program, visit our website at www.fuf.net or call 561-6890. For questions about tree care, please call Heather Ellison at extension 102.

Please write checks to F.U.F. and mail to:

and indicate "early tree care" on the check.
