If you are interested in planting a tree through F.U.F, call the office at (415) 561-6890 and choose option 2 for a new or replacement street tree, or complete our online form.

The appropriate staff member will let you know if your neighborhood is organizing a tree planting and how you can get signed up. If there isn't anyone organizing your neighborhood, then we will put your name in our database and you will be called if someone starts organizing your area.

Friends of the Urban Forest will plant trees in any neighborhood of San Francisco where at least 30 trees are requested. We do not plant single trees, and we do not plant trees in backyards.

Our plantings generally happen on Saturday mornings, and are group efforts that involve the neighborhood residents themselves, F.U.F. volunteers and staff. We are usually finished by noon, and we conclude each planting with a potluck lunch in the neighborhood for everyone involved.

If you are participating in a F.U.F. planting, please review the forms below.

These links open .pdf files, and require that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer.  If you would prefer to have the forms mailed or faxed to you, please email us or call (415) 561-6890 x105.
