All At Once comes to life online at www.AllAtOnce.org and at every Jack Johnson concert in the Village Green, a collection of interactive booths where you can get educated, get inspired, and connect face-to-face with us and other local, national, and international non-profits.

To donate appreciated stock we have an account with Morgan
Stanley. Gifts of appreciated stock provide are tax deductible
and are not subject to capital gains tax. Friends of the Urban
Forest is able to work directly with your broker or financial
advisor to facilitate the gift.
The safest way to make a gift is to transfer
the shares electronically from your account to ours.

FUF now accepts the donation of vehicles. You can now donate
your vehicle, car, RV or boat to FUF. Your donation is tax
deductible. The Vehicle Donation Processing Center is handling
the paperwork, the free towing of your vehicle and will provide

You can also help FUF by donating used items to the Community
Thrift Store at 623 Valencia Street (Account #241, phone 415-861-4910).
Planning Today for a Better Tomorrow
Help sustain FUF for years to come. You may not be able to
donate as much as you would like today. However you may be
able to provide a gift today that will be used in the future.
A planned giving gift assures that FUF will be able to continue
to grow and sustain our urban forest for the next generations.
Please consider some of the following ideas in your estate
planning:
- A direct gift in a will - Name FUF
as a beneficiary with a specific gift
- A charitable gift trust - Provide
a life estate for your heirs with the remainder (currently
at least 10%) of the estate to FUF.
- Naming FUF as a beneficiary on a life
insurance policy. Many of us have life insurance policies
and it is simple to add FUF as one of the beneficiaries.
You can designate the percentage that you want to go to
FUF while still leaving the bulk of the benefits to your
heirs. Some banks and lending institutions give out free
$1,000 life insurance policies to their customers, it is
a simple matter to name FUF as the beneficiary.
- Naming FUF as a beneficiary to a pension
or IRA account. You can designate a specific percentage
going to FUF, while retaining a healthy percentage to your
heirs.
- Donating bonds with a future maturity
date to FUF. This way you can donate amount today that will
generate more money in the future.
These are just a few ideas that can assure
a future healthy living urban forest in San Francisco. Please
consult an estate planning attorney for tax advantages, wills,
trust and estate planning to choose the most effective plans
for you. If you are thinking of or have already provided a
future gift to FUF please contact us about the nature of the
gift and the name of the trustee or individual who will administer
your gift. We would also like to thank you for your generosity

yet over half of the available planting locations in San Francisco
